I had an art teacher in high school named Mr. Songer.
He was an accomplished local artist and tried to impart his
pared-down aesthetic to his students.
"Keep it simple, stupid!" he'd laugh when he'd look over my projects in progress.
I can't help but agree with his mantra today in all aspects of life.
