Yes! This officially was removed from the ghetto realms of flea markets and 10 carat door knocker earrings and placed into high fashion with the "Carrie necklace" in the last season of Sex and the City - when Carrie is in Paris and realizes that she has lost sight of herself and HER wants and desires by being with the Russian (realization brought on by finding the Carrie necklace in her handbag). Then she dumps his ass and moves back to NYC! Life altering necklace = self respect! Wahoo!!!
